2018 Father’s Day Message from Our President

As with every Father’s Day, I reflect on my relationship with my dad, our founder, who passed 12 years ago. And, sadly, this year, I also lost my dog, Gracie, on the same day and same time as my dad. I truly believe that was no coincidence. While I feel this tremendous loss, I reflect on the lessons my dad taught me. On my mind this Father’s Day, I am feeling blessed to have learned how to balance life with work.

My dad always lived to balance family life, work and his friendships. He often spoke with me of all 3 aspects and helped me to embrace the importance of maintaining them with equal value. For myself, I also add to this balance living a healthy life style.

Today, with my Petschauer Team, I share these values just as my dad did with me. It is important for me to carry my dad’s legacy and promote that we should all equally balance family, work and friendships so that we maintain healthy lifestyles. On this day of remembrance, I am grateful for all the lessons my dad imparted to me.

I wish all fathers and mentors, whether here or in spirit, a day of celebration for all the love and support you give. Be mindful, you are creating legacies.
